Objectives:XENONAX (Orlistat) is a weight loss medication which has been shown to significantly improve glycemic control in obese patients. It has been administered by pharmacists to obese patients and has been shown to significantly reduce weight, body mass index (BMI), and waist circumference.
Methods:XENONAX (Orlistat) was randomized to either 2.5 mg or 1.25 mg three times daily (every 12 hours) for 3 weeks. All patients had a BMI of 30 or more. Weight and waist circumference were measured before and after treatment and weekly over the 3-week period. The primary end point was change in weight (the number of excess calories from fat), BMI, and waist circumference. A secondary end point was change in weight and waist circumference with the weekly use of either medication.
Results:XENONAX (Orlistat) was effective in reducing the number of excess calories from fat. Mean BMI and waist circumference decreased by a median of 27 and 28% respectively after the 2.5 mg and 1.25 mg doses of XENONAX (orlistat) compared to baseline. The mean change in BMI was 13.8 kg/m2 in the 1.25 mg dose group versus 14.3 kg/m2 in the 2.5 mg group. The mean change in waist circumference was 8.8 cm (1.8-13.9) in the 1.25 mg dose group versus 7.1 cm (2-8.9) in the 2.5 mg group. The change in weight was significantly greater in the 1.25 mg dose group than in the 2.5 mg dose group (7.3 kg/m2 vs 5.2 kg/m2, p = 0.03). XENONAX (Orlistat) was well tolerated in patients with a BMI of less than 30 kg/m2 or in those with a BMI of more than 30 kg/m2 and a waist circumference greater than or equal to 70 cm (p = 0.63). XENONAX (Orlistat) had similar safety profile compared to a placebo (2.5 mg, 3.3 mg, or 5 mg).
Conclusion:XENONAX (Orlistat) was well tolerated in overweight or obese patients. XENONAX (Orlistat) is not a magic bullet weight loss treatment. It is recommended to continue to use the medication as directed by your doctor.

Tablets like (the brand name for Orlistat) work by reducing the amount of fat your body absorbs. Ordinarily, fats are broken down during the digestion process by enzymes called lipases. Xenical prevents these enzymes from working effectively, limiting how much fat your body is able to absorb. The remaining, undigested fat is then excreted.
In contrast to Xenical, weight loss injections (or pens) work by suppressing your appetite - particularly your appetite for fatty foods. Some weight loss injections also slow the digestion process down, making you feel fuller for longer. They’re simple to use - check out our for more information.
Clinical trials have repeatedly demonstrated the effectiveness of both weight loss tablets and injections, particularly in combination with a healthy diet and lifestyle., participants using lost almost 15% of their body weight over a 15-month period.

orlistat is an oral prescription medication for the treatment of obesity. Orlistat is a lipase inhibitor, meaning it blocks the absorption of dietary fat in the body. It is a prescription-only medication. This drug is used to reduce the absorption of fat in the intestines. It works by inhibiting the enzyme lipase (or lipase-1) in the intestine, which breaks down triglycerides and free fatty acids. This breaks down carbohydrates and lipids, thereby reducing their intake. Orlistat is also prescribed to help with weight loss, as it can assist in the process of fat accumulation in the body.

Orlistat is a prescription-only medication used to reduce the absorption of fat in the intestines. Orlistat also helps to improve the overall health of people with obesity. In some cases, patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus or who have had surgery to the intestine may benefit from Orlistat. Orlistat works by blocking the action of the lipase enzyme in the intestine, which breaks down triglycerides and free fatty acids. This allows them to absorb fat in their small intestine. The result of this action is a reduction in the amount of fat that is absorbed. If you are not able to absorb the fat you are absorbing, it may be too much.
